Show and Tell - unusual photo of the beach at Nairn
I wanted to share this unusual photo I took on the beach at Nairn which shows a wonderful streak of unusual formation through a rock, as well as a perfect hole worn by the waves..........I used to love studying rocks when I was younger, and still do. Its amazing to find lichen, mica, and other minerals in them, but I have never been lucky enough to find any fossils yet, although I did also find this spooky footprint in the sand too! There was not a person for miles around that day so maybe it was made by a mermaid who grew legs/feet!
